Our history

At the Table Ministry began as a program in 2019 and officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2024. Our organization was born from a passion inspired by Jesus' call in Matthew 25:35-36 to care for others with compassion and selflessness. After serving for six months globally, where they worked closely with youth at a local school, our staff felt a deepened commitment to pursue this mission in their hometown of Marion County and across the globe.

Our mission

Through Christ, we exist to equip youth with essential needs, mentorship, and life skills, locally and globally.

Our work

Locally, our focus is on equipping youth with essential needs such as food and clothing, mentorship, teaching life skills, and sharing the love of Christ. As we embark on our journey, our initial goal is to provide these fundamental necessities while building a strong foundation and connections within our community. We currently do this through our mobile kids closet, The Peanut Butter & Jelly Club, at neighborhood events.

Globally, we partner with local leaders overseas to serve youth and families through hands-on support and relationship-based ministry. From building and using community spaces like a futsal field, to mentoring students, providing hygiene items, and supporting access to school, our international outreach meets practical needs while sharing the hope of Jesus. Everything we do is rooted in presence, consistency, and walking alongside young people as they grow.

As we establish our foundation, we will continue to expand our programs, always with the aim of addressing both physical and spiritual needs and helping youth grow into successful, faith-filled individuals.
